Heidi Hill serves as the Vice President of Clinical Services for MedVet with direct responsibility for overseeing the Hospital Directors in the Midwest region. In this role, Heidi is a collaborative thought leader working in partnership with colleagues at all levels to help drive the organization forward in pursuit of the mission, Leading Specialty Healthcare for Pets.
Most recently, Heidi Hill was the Director of Clinical Services Growth where she worked with a team to oversee growth of MedVet new multi-specialty hospitals, urgent cares, and Veterinary Eye Institute locations. She also worked to implement a new service framework across existing hospitals to enhance the MedVet Experience for patients, clients, and our team members. Her focus on servant leadership, commitment to culture and experience, and expertise in change management and building relationships has been instrumental in MedVet’s healthy, strategic growth.
Prior to that, she served as MedVet’s Director of Clinical Services Integration where she applied her transformational leadership to successfully integrate locations into the organization. And she was a Hospital Director at MedVet Dayton where she helped expand the hospital from an afterhours, weekends, and holidays emergency services to a 24/7 multi-specialty hospital to provide exceptional, comprehensive veterinary care to pets and their loving families.
Prior to joining MedVet in 2006, Heidi was the Hospital Administrator for the Dayton Emergency Veterinary Clinic (DEVC), an emergency veterinary hospital that provided evening, weekend, and holiday care. Her earlier experience includes leadership and clinical roles in human healthcare and long-term care at multiple locations throughout Ohio and St. Josephs Children’s Treatment Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Heidi graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree. She earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Morehead State University. Additionally, she is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).
When not at work, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
