Taylor Sherrod, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (SAIM), is a Board-Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist. Dr. Sherrod joined the MedVet Columbus team in 2023.
Dr. Sherrod attended Walsh University where she earned, with honors, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning her veterinary degree, she completed a rotating internship at North Carolina State University and an internal medicine residency at North Carolina State University.
Dr. Sherrod co-authored an article in Chromatographia, A Stability-Indicating HPLC Method for the Determination of Nitrosylcobalamin (NO-Cbl), a Novel Vitamin B12 Analog.
Dr. Sherrod enjoys all aspects of veterinary internal medicine but has a particular interest in endocrinology and autoimmune diseases. One of her favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is finding answers to patient’s conditions and implementing treatments to help them feel better.
When not treating patients, Dr. Taylor Sherrod enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three dogs.
