Alena Gurevich, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati and MedVet West Chester.
Dr. Gurevich earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in Vitebsk, Belarus. She then completed a clinical rotation year at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine as a PAVE participant in Columbia, MO.
Dr. Gurevich joined MedVet through the Emergency Clinical Mentorship Program (ECMP), which provides new graduates with advanced, hands-on training in emergency medicine. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and anesthesia, with a special interest in feline medicine.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
In addition to her native Russian, Dr. Gurevich is fluent in English, which enables her to connect with a broad range of clients and their pets.
When not caring for patients, she enjoys biking, playing volleyball, and exploring new places.
