Khelsea Bahr, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Dayton.
Dr. Bahr earned her undergraduate degree from Olivet University in Olivet, MI, and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. She then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Dallas, TX, followed by a specialty internship in surgery.
Dr. Bahr maintains a particular interest in surgery, specifically orthopedics and trauma, as well as research and medical advancements, and aquatic medicine. She is passionate about helping people by helping their pets, viewing veterinary medicine as a meaningful way to serve both the community and the animals in it. She is drawn to MedVet for the exceptional quality of medicine it provides.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Bahr enjoys building Legos, going to the movie theater, and visiting aquariums.
