Savannah Weferling, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Chicago.
Dr. Weferling earned her Bachelor of Science in animal science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, also from Louisiana State University.
Following her veterinary degree, Dr. Weferling completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University before joining the MedVet Chicago team as a Specialty Intern in Surgery.
Dr. Weferling has a particular interest in wound management and feline medicine. She finds great fulfillment in seeing improved quality of life in patients after care and looks forward to working closely with pet owners and colleagues to provide exceptional veterinary care.
