Maura Porter, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Chicago.
Dr. Porter attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a double major in Chinese. She began her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Kitts & Nevis before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from College of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan, KS.
Dr. Porter enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a particular interest in neurology. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is the opportunity to continually learn and grow while building relationships with clients and helping them make informed decisions about their pets’ health. She also values working with dedicated colleagues and caring for animals every day.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Maura Porter enjoys hiking, playing piano and violin, rock climbing, and spending time with her two cats.
