Keith E. Sobel, DVM, MBA, Diplomate, ACVIM (SAIM) is a Board-Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist and the Medical Director at MedVet Northern Virginia, where he has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Sobel attended Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He then completed a yearlong internship in medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Veterinary Referral Associates. In addition, Dr. Sobel earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
Dr. Sobel has a particular interest in internal medicine. One of his favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is performing procedures to help diagnose patients including ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and bone marrow aspirates.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Keith Sobel enjoys playing tennis.
